The TSO probe achieves functionality through dual technology:
1) The temperature measurement part adopts Pt10% Rh/Pt thermocouple, which converts the temperature signal into an electrical signal based on the Seebeck effect;
2) The oxygen regulation function relies on solid electrolyte concentration oxygen cells, which utilize the oxygen ion conductivity of zirconia ceramics at high temperatures to measure oxygen activity by generating electromotive force through the difference in oxygen concentration on both sides.
After the probe is inserted into the molten steel, the thermocouple works synchronously with the oxygen cell, and the temperature data is used to correct the output of the oxygen cell. Finally, the signal is transmitted to the control model through the secondary gun system to achieve carbon oxygen balance calculation and dynamic adjustment of smelting parameters.
